Is your office an absolute state? Are you struggling to see the floor or desk with all that paperwork, lunchtime wrappers and dust? It’s time to get everything spotless.
Untidy offices lead to a lack of productivity. You spend all this time looking at the problem, rather than tackling the work you need to do. So it is time to tackle the mess and then move on from there. Here are three effective business cleaning tips, so it doesn’t have to take all day.
Hire a Janitorial Service
The easiest thing you can do is hire someone to do it all for you. There are a lot of great services out there in your area, and they will make sure your office is just right. Hiring someone else to do it for you means you can just get straight on with work. And you can hire them on a regular basis to avoid it getting back in the future.
Have a Box of Cleaning Supplies
You don’t want to go around looking for the cleaning supplies. Make sure you have a box or a cupboard specifically for them. It could be under the sink in the staffroom or in a box under your desk. As soon as you see a mess, you can pull out the cleaning supplies and tackle it. Don’t let it become a bigger issue.
There are a few items you want in your box. These include glass/window cleaner, computer screen cleaner, dusters and sponges and carpet cleaner.
Tackle It in a Day
Tackle the whole office in a day. Start with one corned and gradually make your way around the whole place. If this is something that has to be done on a day off, so be it. At least you will be ready to work the next day.
From now on, stay on top of your cleaning. Tidy your desk at the end of each day and give it a good clean once a week.
Remember you don’t need to do it all yourself. Keep your office clean by hiring a regular cleaning service.
